WCS is a community studio in Whanganui working with diverse- abilities and mental wellbeing. We provide a safe, supportive free space and resources.
WCS artists build resilience through creativity in a variety of mediums and authentic expression. Come and find a unique range of artwork. Whanganui Creative Space is a free Community Art Studio, open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am until 2pm. There is always an Art Tutor and an Assistant Tutor present, who provide materials and can support Artists in their medium of choice. Our Open Studios exhibition is supported by Whanganui District Creative Communities Scheme
