After a 25 year practise in ceramics and large-scale mosaic sculptures on Waiheke Island and Australia, I took a long break. A recent trip to Mexico left me awed by the vitality of the culture of the indigenous peoples, all but destroyed by colonisers. Mexico has reactivated my creative pulse and I am eager to see how this new sense of connection will manifest.
