Appetite for Art is progressive dinner hosted by AOS, which includes an exclusive Behind the Scenes tour of the Sarjeant Gallery.
Attendees will be served drinks & canapes at Sarjeant Gallery, followed by main course and dessert with coffee or tea at Mud Ducks.
There is a maximum of 24 people at each dinner.
Time: Class 1: Wednesday 25th March - 4pm – 8pm. Class 2: Thursday 26th March - 4pm – 8pm.
Class 1: Saturday 4th April 11am – 3pm. Class 2: Sunday 5th April 11am – 3pm.

Class 1- Beginners Jewellery: The ring. Students will learn how to measure a finger & make a silver ring or small set of silver stacking rings to fit. A range of surface techniques & finishes will be discussed & utilised during the workshop.
Class 2- Beginners Jewellery: The earring. Students will make a pair of studs & a pair of drop earrings in precious metal. Options regarding design will be discussed.
Basic materials supplied as part of class fee - additional materials available to purchase.

Class 1- Felted Treasure Bag. With children in mind but anyone would enjoy making a simple felted drawstring bag whilst learning some easy felt-making skills. For ages approx. 8 yrs and over.
Class 2- Explore Felted Flora. Come and explore the colourful world of creating felted flowers. No felting experience needed.
Workshops will be held in Article Café – corner Drews Ave and Rutland St.
FELTING & PRINTING
Time: Class 1. Tuesday 24th March 9.30am – 4.00pm.
Class 2. Thursday 26th March 10.00am – 2.00pm.

Class 1- Felted Slippers/Boots to Fit. After a quick sample to learn welt-felt 3D technique we will cut a pattern for slippers to fit you. Then proceed to complete a pair for you to take home. Bring something to share for lunch, also a few old towels. Everything else supplied. Limited to 6.
Class 2- Plant Printing on Cotton Polo Shirt. After gathering plants & rusty bits, we will bundle XL polo shirts, tie with string & boil in my copper for at least 30 minutes. Everything supplied. Limited to 10.
Time: Sundays monthly, 10am – 1pm.
Cost: $50.00 each 3 hour session
