Sunset Dune / Beach Walk and Duncan Pavilion Photography

No big teaching session just a chance to head out from CiA on a walk that will offer a number of spots to take photographs.
The 0.5m low tide is at 6:35pm and sunset at 7:38pm so those line up. We’re obviously dependant on a clear(ish) sky on the day.

6pm meet at the aircraft
6:15pm dune bush walk – a mixture of regenerating bush, over dunes and along the beach at low tide above the skate park & basketball court (action shots?) and finishing in the iconic Duncan Pavilion by 7:15pm. That allows time for you double back to get your preferred tidal or dune shot or chill, chat (eat if you’ve brought food), photograph the Pavilion and get ready to capture sunset at 7:38pm

A camera (or smartphone) “The Best Camera Is The One That’s With You” (Chase Jarvis)
Decent walking shoes – mostly flat easy bush and beach walking but we will be climbing a windblown small dune. Ones you can kick off to walk barefoot at low tide would be a good idea.
Sandwitches and a drink if you want to have a bite to eat at the iconic (and very photogenic) Duncan Pavilion while waiting for sunset.
