Practical Workshop: Sun Prints
Monday 16 March, 10am – 4pm
Sietske will introduce you to Sun prints, the process of making photographic prints using the power of the sun. If it’s cloudy we will use an alternative light source. You will create your own prints using a selection of materials, explore photograms and experiment with how exposure time and brightness affects the outcome. Everyone will have several prints to take away with them and any work that needs a little longer to dry will be posted to you.
If you’re wanting a reason to extend your weekend visit for Artist Open Studios, come join Sietske on Monday the 16th or Vanessa on Friday the 20th at Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery for a day of learning and making. Registrations required as spaces are limited.
Venue: Te Whare o Rehua classroom space
Cost: $55 per person registrations required. 15 people max. Ages 15+
