Paint a Picasso Inspired Pottery Sculpture

Paint with underglaze a pottery sculpture.

Fiona will make a pottery box and 3D cone to be painted. These items will be leather hard not fired so etching can be added as well as painting. Fiona will also show you how to do sgraffito (etching between layers of underglaze). 

Underglaze is a clay based paint that will be painted on by brushes in the design you choose. Fiona’s sculptures are people but that’s nots to say your one has to be a person. Once dried the pieces will be fired and glazed  and Fiona will glue a magnetic to the bottom of the box and top of the cone to attach the two pieces (unless you specify they are to stay separate).  

All materials will be provided including the box and cone. Finished sculptures will be collected about a month of the workshop or posted at your cost.
