Edwards is a well known Māori Printmaker and co founder of Toi Whakaata - Māori print collective, Aotearoa. She works from her studio at Castlecliff and has a career that spans 20+ years. She has been based in Whanganui since she graduated from the Fine Art School in 2002 and feels at peace here within the art and Māori community. She has recently completed her MMVA - Masters of Māori Visual Arts and is developing a framework around a Māori approach to printmaking. Her work includes a number of print processes including printing from Te Taiao - or printing from the environment, which is not a new thing but a process that reminds us where we are and what is around us physically.
