Su Keates has been a practicing jeweller, carver and ceramicist for twenty years on and off. Her passion largely lies in natural forms, sometimes creating pieces close to original designs by nature such as leaves and animals, and sometimes in three-dimentions forms which are more free-flowing and unplanned, like water or air. She works primarily in wax, wood, silver and copper, clay, and she sources recycled materials where she can. Projects for the near future include blown glass/glass engraving colaboration, and more pen/ink, and pencil sketches.
