Seven years ago I returned to Whanganui after an absence of thirty+ years. After settling in I decided to go back to school and enrolled at Ucol in the diploma of Art and Design. I have always loved the reflective qualities of glass and so took the opportunity of learning how to manipulate molten glass. After achieving the diploma I acquired a small kiln and started out on the adventure of fusing art glass into both functional/decorative and art pieces. I now possess a much larger kiln which is lovingly referred to as 'The Coffin'.
