Leigh Anderton-Hall is a Whanganui-based artist with a narrative-driven practice. For the past twelve years, she has primarily worked in ceramics, creating collected objects that explore shared fascinations and concerns. Her work draws from a rich well of inspiration—from the personal to the political, and from current affairs to ancient myths—weaving them into cohesive visual stories.
A graduate of the Elam School of Fine Arts (M.F.A., 2004) and the Quay School of the Arts (B.F.A., 1997), Anderton-Hall also nurtured new talent as a tutor at UCOL. She is represented by Space Studio & Gallery in Whanganui. Visit her open studio to engage with her latest creations and the compelling narratives behind them.
