Leigh’s art is deeply narrative, using imagery from both the human and natural world, alongside urban structures and objects, to explore issues that resonate personally and collectively. Her work often forms cohesive stories through curated collections of objects, blending mediums like drawings, paintings, and constructed pieces. These creations are shaped by her personal experiences, reflections on current affairs, and mythical archetypes that convey deeper meanings. Over the past nine years, Leigh has shifted her focus primarily to ceramics, using the medium’s tactile and transformative properties to craft evocative, hand-built pieces. Through pushing, shaping, and coiling clay, she brings her unique narratives to life, making her work a compelling intersection of form and story.
