I have always been interested in drawing and have dabbled with various mediums over the years. I have two grown up children and am a grandmother and have lived in Whanganui most of my life. I really like using charcoal (straight from the ashes in the fireplace) and pastels - they are both equally messy, but both produce wonderful effects that sometimes come as a bit of a surprise.
