Since studying Textile Design in Wellington, I have always had a love of graphic design, colour, shape and texture.
Part of my creative process is cutting up cloth and rearranging pieces into different forms.
This year I am again enjoying children’s illustrated stories. The children’s clothing I have stitched and embroidered is inspired by the main characters from picture books.
Alongside Lockett Gallery I will be exhibiting a range of clothing that children can wear, pretending they are part of the story.
