Fascinated and inthralled by fine drawing from a young age Izzy Neill had a drawer full of loose papers covered in sketches of horses, flowers and princess dresses. Of course it was all a great cliche, but that drawer full of drawings wouldn't close, and neither did her interest in drawing and creativity. Sticking at it throughout school, she evolved into painting in those teenage years developing an interest in realism using oil paints.
Izzy loves to capture those moments of spectacular light. When the sun slants through the trees and dances shadows on the ground or when the sun is setting over the ocean and turns to infinite shades of gold.
As a medical herbalist Izzy also incorporates the Materia Medica into her pieces. Where you will find gems of knowledge about these medicinal plants. Subtly expressed within her paintings in a secret language you might be able to unlock if your lucky enough. Or if you know how to whisper to the plants.
