I enjoy experimenting with many media, but I have a particular fondness for assemblage, performance, bone preservation, zine-making, craftivism, installation,
participatory art, public art and junk sculpture. I’ve put my fingers in most pies (mmm pie) !
I’m like a magpie – I find and collect all sorts of (animal!) body parts, oddities, junk, and discarded treasures. My studio is a bit like a cabinet of curiosities as it’s filled with finds. Each object carries its own history and intrigue – they hold stories, and in turn, help me to tell mine.
Many of these objects are transformed in my ongoing “Strange Muse” assemblage series – part autobiographical, part inspired by the restless thoughts that keep me awake at night. Thanks, 3am !
