Duncan has exhibited regularly at Space with sgraffito and pencil works. With a distinct, detailed style, his works are inspired by place, combined with indigenous-style patterns. A trained arborist, Duncan has an interest in native wood and timber.
Since moving into the studio, Duncan has been learning relief and intaglio printing, and is often found pulling prints on the gallery press – loaned by local printmaking legend Graham Hall.
Duncan has shared his studio at Space with Susan Keates for approximately a year, participating in last year’s event at the Bedford Avenue Studios.
