Pauline Allomes

I am an environmental artist. I portray how beautiful I find our natural environment, and my sorrow at the destruction we are causing. I work to capture the ancient forests and the regeneration that has continued for centuries without man, knowing my representations never truly portray the feeling of majesty one gets standing in these primordial forests. I work in paint, pencil, ink and various ancient metals. To create these images is a privilege. If those that view these images are moved to make even a small change in their lives I have achieved my goal.
