exhibited in 2025 at Awarua Gallery is a ‘ collection of life’s moments…not always in sequence’.
Images reflect experiences and visual memories of early childhood formative years growing up in the outback of Australia – the vastness and the colours of the landscape and the brilliant nocturnal Southern Cross skies – left indelible impressions on her to this day. Her earlier works from 2003 based on her childhood memories from time spent growing up in north Western Australia reflect this.
Living rurally along the river flats of the Whanganui River, a ‘love of a lifestyle place’ , the land has been a blank canvas in itself for a source of inspiration to generate art making ideas.
