Trevor Fry is a contemporary artist who has expounded his dangerous visions in many radical exhibitions in New Zealand and overseas for over forty years. His work has been shown in exhibitions such as Breathless at Teststrip in Auckland, Implicated and Immune at Michael Lett Gallery, Sexes at Performance Space/Carriageworks, Sydney, Overundersidewaysdown at the Mosman Museum Sydney, the Gold Coast International Ceramic Art Award in Surfers Paradise and at the Chiayi City Koji Pottery Museum in Taiwan.
His cross-disciplinary art practice encompasses ceramics, sculpture, video, performance, installations, drawing, collage and painting. He completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney (PhD, MVA) in 2016, prior to this graduating from Victoria University of Wellington (BA), the University of Canterbury (Dip. F.A.), the University of New South Wales (MArt), and studying Art History at the University of Auckland.
