Rita Dibert is a colourist at heart, whether she is creating paintings, as she has done since a small child growing up in Flint, Michigan or working in a variety of photographic or mixed mediums. Whether delighting in colour for its’ own joy in a personal way or speaking out on a topical issue, Rita orchestrates colour in subtle and refreshing ways. The colours of her canvases change with the movement of light through the day and they will delight you, as they have her other collectors, over the years.
