Fiona McGowan

I began clay work at Whanganui Polytech tutored by George Kojis and Ross Mitchell-Anyon. After a long pause, I did a Fine Arts Degree majoring in painting at the Quay School of the Arts graduating in 2009. Now I tend to do more clay work than painting. I enjoy making domestic ware from small cups to large baking ware. I also extend my practice by making clay artworks for themed exhibitions with fellow Quay school artists and as sole artist
