My work is all about the joy of colour and the combination of fun shapes and textures to make wearable art pieces that uplift both the wearer and observer. The jewellery I create is rarely subtle; it can make an outfit, or make a statement, but it should always make you feel fabulous.
I love the mix of art and engineering that comes with making jewellery. I create the designs, mix the colours and assemble the final pieces. Polymer clay is my go to material but I’m fascinated by how it could work with other mediums and I’m constantly experimenting. With a background in product design and accessibility it’s also important that all my pieces are comfortable and easy to wear
field.st may be a one woman business but one of my core values is community over competition. After years living overseas I now split my time between New Zealand and the UK, based in Whanganui or London, where I’m blessed to be surrounded by fabulous artists and makers who, alongside my family, provide so much support and motivation. I aim to give back to that community in the same way, and am always available to offer support and advice to other makers where I can.
