Frances makes jewellery in Whanganui, in her workshop ‘A Place for Hammers’.
Jewellery is how Frances makes sense of things. Each piece begins with a shape, a material, or an idea — sometimes personal, sometimes shared. Some are made in multiples. Others are made just once, as commissions.
A wide range of materials are used, though sterling silver remains her favorite material.
