Leonie Sharp
My work is assemblage art using mainly feathers, thread, muka and paper, but almost anything else can pop up. The Nest is my home and studio and a small viewing space. I have been a working artists for 20 years and have great fun doing it. Success is when someone adores what they have bought and finds a space for it in their life. I am influenced by books, history, women's stories, ideas of belonging and ethnicity and by the feathers themselves.
