Glen completed a BFA from the Quay School of Fine Arts in Whanganui then went on to complete a MFA in painting from Elam School of Fine Arts in Auckland. He has had several solo exhibitions after working as a studio assistant to Max Gimblett. He has exhibited at the Lopdell House Gallery, the NZ Academy of Fine Arts, the Corner Window Gallery, Auckland, curated by Rob Garrett and recently, The Poi Room in Auckland. He has been a finalist in the Wallace Art Awards, the Waiheke Art Awards, the Parkin Drawing Prize and was awarded a merit award in the NZ Painting and Printmaking Awards in 2005 and the Whanganui Arts Review in 2015. His work is held in public and private collections including the Te Papa Tongarewa, Whanganui Sarjeant Art Gallery, James Wallace Arts Trust, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as overseas.
