As a matter of fact…

over the last few years I have been making pencil drawings on board; pencil on top of paint/ink, and more recently sgraffito and pencil on top of paint/ink on board. Bringing the colour of the board, or the paint underneath, through the ink and onto the surface. These have been somewhat dark but also pretty detailed, textured, and cool too. I have worked primarily in these mediums because they are low mess and low odour in a small space. I’m working on getting some digital prints of these made currently.

This current trajectory seems heading towards woodcut printing, as a way to get more out of the detail and some brighter colours/contrast, but I can’t be sure where it takes me.
